Information

Over the past 20 years, in conjunction with FAS (Foras Ãiseanna Saothair Training & Employment Authority), Mallow Heritage Centre has been establishing a database for the family records available in the 46 parishes of the Diocese of Cloyne. The parish of Mallow has provided the premises and has substantially subsidised the work. The result has been not only a heritage database to the best professional standard but the placement of some hundreds of FAS trainees in permanent employment.

Family root searches are ongoing since commencement of the Indexation Project. Since the completion of the indexation of baptismal and marriage records of 46 parishes of the Diocese in 1999, Mallow Heritage Centre has been able to offer a full service for the area cross-referencing records for the whole Diocese of Cloyne. staff
