ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Monsignor Denis O’Callaghan has long and varied experience in academic and pastoral life over half a century. A former Professor of Moral Theology at St Patrick’s College, Maynooth, he is Chairman of Co. Cork VEC, parish priest of Mallow, Co. Cork and Vicar General of the Diocese of Cloyne. He is also a columnist with The Corkman and a popular presenter on County Sound Radio, a local radio station that he also helped to develop. An accomplished writer, his most recent work, Putting Hand to the Plough: A Memoir, was published by Veritas in 2007.
